The following cases are a selection of patients that we have treated over the past five years. A wide variety of cases were selected to demonstrate a spectrum of dental problems and solutions. There are many factors that contribute to oral health, and our team emphasizes the importance of prevention and maintenance along with appropriate treatment.
This patient presented with many cavities, missing teeth, and broken-off roots. Due to the large extent of dental problems, all teeth were extracted, and bone grafting was placed. Following recovery, CT scans were taken to allow accurate placement of implants. We then restored his implants with crowns and bridges to entirely rebuild his mouth.
This patient presented with a variety of problems. Issues included broken crowns, worn teeth, cavities, periodontal disease, dental abscesses, and missing teeth. After a full mouth reconstruction, he regained confidence in smiling and chewing. Additionally, the stabilized bite took pressure off his TMJ.
This case is a great example of why a patient should not let grinding and clenching go uncontrolled for a long period of time. This patient presented with severe wear and loss of vertical dimension (his chin is now too close to his nose when his mouth is closed). We restored his entire mouth and re-established his bite with crowns, then protected the new restorations with a night splint.

This patient lost several front teeth from an accident, which also caused severe bone loss. She had four implants placed, and then we restored her missing anatomy with a "bar and sleeve overdenture." This type of prosthesis not only replaces the teeth, but missing gums and bone as well. Additionally, it is very stable from the implants and bar, allowing much more natural chewing and function. |
This patient's lower teeth were too compromised to save. To correct his situation, all the lower teeth were removed, and he had five implants placed. On top of his implants, we fabricated a "hybrid prosthesis" that screws tight and chews like natural teeth.
Sometimes a comprehensive treatment involves selective removal of teeth that are not worth the investment of repair. In this patient, we removed several front teeth and replaced them with implants. Then a mixture of crowns and implant bridges were placed to restore function and esthetics.
This patient had several dentures before arriving at our office. After a little investigating, it became evident that he did not want to use denture paste or pads anymore and had abundant bone. In order to address the concerns, we placed four implants in the top and bottom jaw and then used these for extra retention on his dentures.

This patient is in television sales and spent a good bit of time in front of the camera. She was tired of her squared off front teeth with spaces and unnatural contours. Her new smile boosted her self confidence, and she is no longer afraid to show her pearly whites! |

This patient was tired of her discolored teeth and the visible metal on her left side. We were able to restore a more pleasing contour and harmonized color with crowns and veneers. |
This patient received lower veneers and crowns to improve the appearance of her smile.
After many years of missing teeth, the bone and gums shrink where the empty space remains. Here, it was necessary to add pink porcelain that resembled gums to the patient's new bridge in order to avoid excessively long teeth.
Cost often deters patients from undergoing extensive esthetic treatment. In this case, we were able to restore all the missing teeth with two crowns and removable partials. Since a comprehensive treatment plan was developed, the crowns were designed to allow for a more effective partial.
This patient received crowns and improved her smile.
