The NERD

Every day one of our dentists is designated the NERD. They are here to minimize common patient frustrations including long wait times, difficulty getting an appointment, and impersonal doctor relations. This dentist only meets with new patients, spends time with you during hygiene visits, and treats your emergencies. The NERD will have no other distractions. Since this allows our other doctors to be totally focused on treatment, every patient benefits by allowing us to give you the attention you deserve.

    Having had a dental emergency at an odd time, I called McCalla Family Dentistry in the hopes of being fitted into the schedule. I was delighted to get an appointment the same day. Dr. John was personable, and his staff were delightful, thoughtful and very caring of my needs. In a day where courtesy is not highly valued, this facility is warm, outgoing, efficient, and modern. I would recommend this facility to anyone in search of a regular dentist. I've found my new dentist, no further searching. What a delight for the citizens of Bessemer/McCalla!

    McCalla Dental was very accomodating. I have a hard time with equipment in my mouth and they were able to work quickly without the mouth piece for a filling.
